Current Projects
Currently we are involved in an effort to translate Health Care Claims from the
older NUBC Electronic Data
Interchange standards to the newer
HIPAA EDI Standards.
To facilitate this transition, a shift was made to use
XML tools and report formats.
Therefore, all report output from the system, other than that required for the
HIPAA transactions themselves, is in
XML format.
Work is ongoing to design and implement an
XML solution to the EDI transaction itself as the standards will be
changing again.
