Vision Statement
Soon all data interchange between computers, whether they are on the same LAN
or across the Internet, will be in
XML format.
Microsofts new
DotNet family of servers will further this by using
XML as the data format of choice between servers and client computers
running Windows platforms. As well as
WebServices which promise to deliver true cross-platform applications.
XML is already ubiquitous
and with the rollout of
Microsofts DotNet Development Tools it promises to become the primary
architectural paradigm in use.
